Warhammer World Road Trip 2018

August 14, 2018 by Lee

Well, it’s that time of the year again when we take our summer road trip to Warhammer World Nottingham, for a few days of gaming, admiring, spending and of course visiting Bugman’s Bar.

Bugmans

Over the coming days we will blog various posts of the games we have played which will include the grimy depths of the underhive in Necromunda, followed by a battle in the mortal realms in Age of Sigmar and finally to the grim darkness of the far future in Warhammer 40k.

If we have time we will also be playing Warhammer 40k Kill Team, Blood Bowl and Age of Sigmar Champions card game.

For a bit of fun this time around we have decided to incorporate a mini league system for playing Necromunda, Kill Team and Age of Sigmar Champions. We will be awarding 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and zero points for a loss. The winner will be announced on Saturday and will be awarded all of the glory a true hero deserves.

So, stay tuned and visit over the next few days where, wi-fi permitting, we will be updating daily how the trip and games are going. Pass on to anyone you know who would be interested in following our trip or if your also there please feel free to say “hi”.

      Hi, thanks for sharing.

If your interested in seeing the tables we played on then take a look at the next 3 blog posts. These are short battle reports with pictures of Necromunda, Age of Sigmar and 40k.

Warhammer World is a great place to visit, with not only shopping opportunities at Warhammer, Forge World and Black Library, but also a huge gaming hall, fabulous exhibition and of course , the famous Bugmans Bar. The staff are really friendly and helpful.
We have been to Warhammer World on many occasions and have never had a bad experience. It is definitely worth the trip.
